Job Title: Bookkeeper

Location: Atlanta, Georgia 

Job Schedule: Part Time (3 Days Per Week)

Reports To: CEO to COO
Compensation: $30 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilize QuickBooks software to record, classify expenses, and reconcile financial transactions. 

  • Generate and send invoices to clients in a timely manner.

  • Monitor account receivable and follow up on outstanding payments. 

  • Process and pay bills (including but not limited to payroll) accurately and within established timelines.

  • Keep track of expenses and ensure proper documentation for all transactions using AMEX and Magnolia’s Dashboard.  

  • Regularly reconcile bank and credit card accounts to maintain accuracy.

  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.

  • Oversee payroll processing

  • Conduct weekly meetings with the Chief Operating Officer to give updates on financial status.

  • Prepare and present monthly financial statements

  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records for reference and auditing purposes. 

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and correct working hours for operators.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

  • Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop Version

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices

  • Previous experience as a bookkeeper is a plus

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is a plus
