Job Title: Event Manager

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Reports To: General Manager
Compensation: $50K to $60K

  • Manage all aspects of specific charity golf tournament managed clients.

  • Attentively listen to client's requests and keeping records of those requests.

  • Attend in person and virtual planning meetings with clients on a regular basis.

  • Create and manage event budget for clients.

  • Brainstorming and implementing event plans and concepts.

  • Upsell signage, player gifting and prizes to managed clients.

  • Attend walk-throughs with clients and venue/golf course staff to ensure all details are covered. 

  • Work on-site events.

  • Manage branding and all event communications with client, attendees, sponsors and venue staff.

  • Operate LED screen at golf tournaments and special events.  Magnolia will provide training.

  • Attend Chamber of Commerce meetings as a Magnolia team member.

  • Follow up with clients following event to book event for next year.

  • Have the ability to travel to events located outside the metro Atlanta area.


  • Work experience in the special events industry is a plus.

  • Excellent MS Office knowledge, Adobe Suite and Google Business Apps knowledge.

  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.

  • Familiarity with office equipment and applications (e.g. e-calendars and printers).

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

  • Availability to work some weekends.

  • Clean driving record.

  • High School Degree.

  • College Degree is a plus but not required.
