The Atlanta chapter of Speedway Children's Charities has raised over million dollars to date. In 2008 over 245, 000 was awarded to 28 local children's organizations. Grants are given to a variety of organizations and most likely have touched the life of someone you know. These funds were raised by the generous support of the racing, corporate and local communities.
Each year the money raised is done so in a variety of ways. Events are held such as a Celebrity Dinner and Silent Auction, Festival of Suites, Golf Tournament, Motorcycle Poker Run, Clay Shoot and Memorabilia Auction, just to name a few. Corporate and Individual donations are also accepted.
