MAGNOLIA GOLF GROUP PROVIDING ELECTRONIC LEADERBOARD
TO US KIDS GOLF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Between August 6 and August 8 over 1,200 children from 35 different countries, ages 6 to 12 will compete on nine different courses in Pinehurst, North Carolina to crown the next US Kids World Champion.  For the fourth straight year Magnolia Golf Group will provide one of their electronic leaderboards for the Teen World Championship and Kids World Championship.  The festivities were kicked off on Wednesday evening with a parade along the downtown streets of Southern Pines.  The parade ended in the city park with the leaderboard flanking the main stage showing video of kids playing golf, along with 35 country flags represented in the tournament when they entered the park.

During the golf tournament the full color leaderboard will be used to display up-to-date scores of the 13 different age divisions for girls and boys, streaming video of kids playing golf, displaying headshots of the leaders and used as a communication tool for the participants and parents throughout the day.  “We are very pleased to partner with an organization like US Kids Golf.  Having four kids of my own, our family is already a customer and we love their products”, says Brian Riggins, managing partner of Magnolia Golf Group.

The tournament finishes on Sunday, August 9^th at Forest Creek Golf Club with a match play event for the 12 year old girls and boys champions.  The leaderboard will be on the 18^th green displaying real time scores throughout the championship, along with headshots of the competitors.
